Rama Nair, PharmD, RPh, CGP

Chief Executive Officer

Rama received her PharmD degree from the University of Florida in 2008 and is a registered pharmacist in the States of Wyoming and Colorado. She has a bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Mangalore University. She has worked as a Lecturer at the University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy and taught Biopharmaceutics and Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacy Practice to PharmD students. As a consultant pharmacist for Flexible Pharmacy-Kindred Healthcare, she performed medication utilization reviews for South Central Wyoming Health Center, Rawlins and Mount Towers Health Care and Rehabilitation Center, Cheyenne. She has received board certification in Geriatric Pharmacy from the Commission for Certification in Geriatric Pharmacy. She is also certified in Clinical Pharmacokinetics (accredited by the American Heart Association), Immunization delivery (American Pharmacy Association), and BLS for Healthcare Providers (CRP and AED, American Heart Association). She is a member of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacist and the College of Psychiatric and Neurologic Pharmacist. She also served as the Coach Coordinator with the American Health Care Network - WY SPUR Project.

Sreejayan Nair, PhD.

Scientific Officer

Sreejayan has a BPharm, MPharm and PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Mangalore University, India. He received his post-doctoral training at the Department of Medicine II, Klinikum Grosshadern, Ludwig Maximillian Universitat, Munich, Germany and the Department of Physiology, University of Tennessee, Health Sciences Center, Memphis, TN.He joined the University of Wyoming as an Assistant Professor of Pharmacology in 2002 and in 2014 was promoted to full professor. He serves as the Associate Dean for Research in the School of Pharmacy. From 2010-2015 he served as the Director of the Center for Cardiovascular Research and Alternative Medicine. He also serves as the Director of the interdisciplinary Biomedical Sciences Graduate Program in the University. He has over 75 research papers in top tier journals in the area of obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular disease. He has had several successful collaborations with nutraceutical industries including projects relating to product discovery and development and preclinical and clinical studies. He has received funding for his research by the NIH, American Heart Association and American Diabetes Association. He is a member of the American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association and American Society of Pharmacology and Therapeutics. He is also a fellow of the American College of Nutrition.
